Stop for a moment and think of the word freedom. Do you feel free? Are there restrictions in your life denying you this right? In our fast-moving, modern society, the concept of freedom can often elude us. We accept, unconditionally, the path our life has taken, without questioning or altering our journey.

By actively participating in seeking a true understanding of freedom we can face our fears, start a fresh chapter, strip back the layers, and take a stand. One short life is all we have; it’s your life and you can make or break the rules. Freedom is a right, but not a given, if we hide in the shadows and simply accept our fate.

We don’t search for it, it finds us in friendship with like-minded souls, immersion in the beauty of nature. You are transformed and re-capture your free spirit once more.

Brigid Soraghan, born in Ireland, grew up in a large family in the carefree sixties. She qualified as an RGN in England and returned to her homeland in the late nineties working at her local hospital until taking early retirement in 2020. Now she is having time to pursue her passion of sketching, painting and poetry. Her debut book is drawn from her passion of emotive imagination.

What a joy to read. A life adventure starting in Scotland and going to London,Kharkiv, Colombia and Armenia. A trip that allows the narrator to achieve that inner freedom that we all aim to achieve .
