Gardens at night are mysterious and busy places. Hatty never knows whom she will meet when she leaves home. In this book her moonlight encounters give us an insight into life in a garden after dark. Midge first started writing verse at school and has continued at various times throughout her life. Having worked in a nursery school, the children’s curiosity and enthusiasm inspired her to use the medium of verse to tell her stories. She is a passionate gardener who appreciates the natural world.
