Book Description

Have Not Charity is a fascinating and profound investigation into deep and important concepts which have become obscure in modern times: sin and virtue. Alexandr Korol examines what motivates people in their actions, how goals and behaviours align, and how these are all affected both for good and ill both by virtue and by sin. He seeks to show that many ‘good’ deeds are in fact motivated by sin. This is a true modern work of ethics, in the classical sense, a guide for a better life. If you have ever hoped to gain a clearer and fuller understanding of how society and life work, this book will prove invaluable.

The author Alexander Korol published the first version of the book Attention Control in 2012, in which he talked about the fact that we are the attention. Attention is the key to success and everything is built on it. The things that steal our attention, the way we get people’s attention, and everything we do are all related to attention. Even when we have pain, the pain is provocative, but it focuses our attention on the point where we have the pain. All of us humans are different in terms of whose attention attracts to what things more and whose attention attracts to what things less.

Attention is one of the foundations that has led the author to write over 20 books, and it is attention management that brings him success. Attention is energy management, concentration, memory, meditation. And the shifting of attention – that is, dynamics – is very important. The author was able to become a writer thanks to his attention and diligence. You cannot succeed if your attention is scattered or if you cannot concentrate and keep your attention on one point.

All of the author’s treatises and books reflect his unique view of life. The author looks at how everything is organized from different angles: what is a person, what is society, what moves people, and the fact that we all live on different frequencies, i.e., in different social strata of society, and our attention is clogged in our own way and busy with something all the time. The meaning of humanity and being human is to free your attention from everything so that nothing steals your attention.

The author’s books are written from a deep philosophical viewpoint: what is a human being, what is the meaning of life, how to survive and adapt in the twenty-first century, and how to determine yourself in life: who are you, who is a human, and who do we listen to, who do we believe in, and what is it all for. If you have ever asked yourself, or have recently asked yourself, philosophical or deep questions about the meaning of life, then you will find answers to these questions in the books of the author, who has spent his entire conscious life searching for answers to these questions and shared his discoveries in his books.

In 2024, the author has decided to re-publish and update his first book, published in 2012, in a more modern way, for modern times, because the book’s subject is more relevant than ever.

It's amazing how easy it is to write about such seemingly complicated things. The author has analyzed human nature in detail, from here many moments in life are clarified when everything was collapsing and you wondered why. In general, I am impressed

This book is a complete new way of understanding human life and basic principles. The good and bad are revealed thru real life examples and basic stories. Though it is not connected so much with church or any religion - rather ot is based on materialistic reasons and consequences.
The author Alexander Korol is famous for his non-standard approach to social critics. Based on his own experiments and real-life stories he opens eyes of the reader and show the path how to get rid of something pulling the person down to “hell” what he called “sins” and some other principles of a person which pull him up to “heaven” what he called “virtues”.
In other words Alexander Korol gives certain instructions what and how to do in life to become a better person. Not better for someone, but better for the world as absolute.

The book "Have not charity (Sins & Virtues)" is a book about people: about how people think and make choices; a book about why people do certain things.

The author of the book, Alexander Korol, tells at the everyday level how we, people, are influenced by everything around us; how one song can change everything in life; how a conversation with just one person can change your life beyond recognition, both for the good and for the bad. We all face this every day, but in the everyday life, in the hustle and bustle, we don’t attach importance to such “little things,” but these are not little things at all.

I recommend reading this book and allowing yourself to look at life from a new angle.

The book is incredible! The author explains every single virtue and sin in detail, also gives his thoughts on how it can influence our lives. The book made me give a thought on my personality and life, so I’m pretty grateful to the author.
