Hiroshi (a Japanese name meaning ‘generous’) is a rabbit who lives on the Moon, much like the one from Japanese folklore. From his vantage point on the Moon, he can see people suffering on Earth and is very perturbed by it. He asks the advice of his friend, Old Man in the Moon, who suggests that he should travel to Earth to see what he can do. As soon as he alights on Earth, he meets a small boy who is in a terrible situation, having lost his family. Hiroshi tries to help as much as he can.

The Author has worked in nursery and primary education for almost 20 years, providing support for children who learn English as an additional language. She is currently studying Humanities with Art History at the O.U. A keen amateur pianist, she also enjoys singing in her local church choir.

Amazing story with great illustration! My 3 years old daughter has almost memorised it and wouldn't go to bed without reading it. She also has picked up some new vocabulary from this book. What a talented author and illustrator! Thanks for bringing a little spark in my daughter's life .
