How do you make the perfect friendship potion?

With a dash of honesty, a sprinkle of silliness, and a generous helping of trust dust!

Join our young adventurers on a magical journey as they mix up the most delightful potion for making friends. Along the way, they’ll discover the true ingredients of friendship: kindness, fun, and working together. A heartwarming story about creating bonds and sharing joy, this tale is sure to inspire children to whip up their own recipe for friendship!

Pyper Hancock was born in New Zealand and has always enjoyed writing short stories. The Friendship Potion started as a simple school project that she developed into the book you now hold.

When Pyper isn’t writing or drawing, she can be found exploring malls with friends or devouring anime graphic novels as quickly as she can afford them.

The one-eyed cat you see throughout the book was a special friend named ‘Pirate’, her first beloved pet who enjoyed napping on Pyper’s face at night.

She also has an annoying younger brother named Carter, whom she should probably mention.

I'm the illustrator and I think I did a pretty good job

A fun filled story that adds quirky fun to quite a serious topic. Pyper has managed to add just the right amount of magic with activities that remind you of making magic potions in the garden with friends. The illustrations add to the joy and my nieces loved the range of critters (and new funky words!) they met along the way. Inspired conversations of what they would look for in friends / the kind of friends they would want to be. Very cool!
