Book Description

On a bright, clear day on Thredbo’s stunning Mount Crackenback, a ski instructor is found dead near the base of the notorious Cannonball run. What first appears to be a tragic accident quickly turns sinister when a test of his equipment reveals foul play.

Detective Sergeant Wayne Bradfield is called in to investigate, joined by the keen and determined Detective Constable Eugene (call me Gene) Evans. As they begin to unravel the mystery, the stakes rise with a second and third murder, sending shockwaves of fear through the small, once-peaceful village.

Who is terrorizing this tight-knit community? And why? With pressure mounting, Bradfield and Evans must rely on every bit of their wit, courage, and resourcefulness to catch the killer, leading to a nail-biting showdown that will test them in ways they never expected.

Kim Wilson lives with her husband in Penrith, New South Wales, at the foot of the stunning Blue Mountains – a change of scenery after being raised in a beachside Sydney suburb!

She started her writing career as an advertising copywriter. After retiring, she began writing sketches and plays for her Drama Group, drawing inspiration from life, love, and her wealth of experiences, which she constantly adds to through involvement in theatre, music, reading, and her Shakespeare discussion group.

Night Lives is Kim’s third book in this genre, following Write of Passage and Danny.
