Willie is an adorable but very adventurous worm. He is not content spending his days underground but would rather be above ground exploring gardens and enjoying the sunshine. Not being the smartest of worms, Willie doesnʼt realise what dangers he faces when he comes out of his hole, but he will find out eventually with disastrous results. However, worms have quite unusual healing power!

Born in a small mining village in Fife, Scotland, the author, now a widower, has two daughters and four grandkids who are the inspiration for many of his stories. After a life of working for mining companies in various parts of the world, he retired and moved with his wife, Linda, to Spain in 2007. After the death of his wife, he then moved to Australia to be closer to his daughters. He has always dabbled with poems for the kids, and thanks to their nagging, he has now finally published one.
