Sheriff Mike Walker has no clue that his retirement from the police department is about to be put on hold when a would-be victim, Sheri Brooks, leads police back to a compound. Omg if you like horror crime, this novel is for you 206 pages of nonstop suspense horror! I have preordered it and read some of the sample on the the authors website and I can’t wait to get it!

If you like horror or crime then you will love this book but I must warn you, it’s one hell of a ride from start to finish it stays strong and ends with a good finish I think part 2 is coming out soon. Get this novel it is a must-read.

The book " In the presence of evil: the devil's cult " is an amazing frictional read by the Author Austin Brooks. It's a gripping and engaging read containing around 206 pages, which will keep the readers hooked till the end. I really appreciate the author for writing this beauty. It's worth spending your time. Coming to the plot, the story revolves around the protagonist named Sheriff Mike Walker. The book starts with a conversation between Mike and Greg at 12 am on 6th june, 2011. Mike was unknown about his sudden retirement from the police department. Working with and serving the nation was something he was attached with for a long time. But now after hearing about his retirement, how does he reacts? It's a kidnap case of a girl which the police and media was mainly focussing on. The responsibility of finding the culprit and stopping the cult was assigned to Mike and Rookie, who was working as a fbi agent. The kidnapper finally got arrested. After search, they got to know that William Lee Smith is a part of this cult which is planning to commit mass murders of the christian community. Were they successful in stopping the cult from further committing such evil things? Or did all their efforts go in vain? What happens next in the story? To know the answer to your questions, do read this book out. I'm sure you won't regret picking this up for reading. The language used is simple and easy for anyone to understand. The writing style is impressive along with the usage of good words. The narration is flawless and smooth throughout. The plot is very well crafted and described by the author. The tittle is unique and appropriate for the content. Also, the cover looks attractive and eye-catchy. I would highly recommend this book to all the readers. Overall, I enjoyed reading it.
I’m not normally a review kind of person, but I came across this book and thought of some good reviews. I thought I would give it a try, anyway, I bought it off Amazon and read it. This book is awesome. It was well-written and has a great story plot behind it. I would love to see this book as a movie.
