They fall deeply in love, marry, and move to Harry's far-flung, outback property, Warudhar, where they work tirelessly to build a life together. All goes well, until world depression and the appearance of Harry's bitter wartime enemies lead to tragic consequences. Jessica is forced to call upon all her reserves of faith and friendship to survive.
