Kate has always shared a bedroom with her older brother until her parents surprise her one day with her own room.

However, Kate is not happy and is anxious about sleeping alone. Every morning when her parents go to wake her, they find she is not in her bed.

Tracey spent her childhood years living on a sheep and cattle property in outback Queensland, Australia. It was here that she developed a love of animals and an appreciation of life in the Australian bush. Tracey has always had a love of children and after moving to the coast and finishing school she began a career as an early childhood educator and has been working with young children for over 30 years. Tracey has always been a keen artist who enjoys drawing and painting in her spare time. Tracey is a mother to two adult daughters and lives with her family and pets on the Gold Coast in Australia.
