Archie and Katie are playing on Cow Hill when they meet a cat called Bailey. Bailey looks and sounds odd and is not the kind of friend the two would normally play with, but because she is lost, they decide to hang out together and end up having a wee adventure by wandering off to places they are not supposed to go, finding trouble along the way and a new friend who is also a bit weird. Bailey comes to the rescue and they all become great friends.

Great friends and new things are not always round the corner but can be right beside you at home!

Rhona Douglas is 56 and lives in the Highlands of Scotland on her own, a place she has lived all her life. Her parents, her son and his partner all live nearby, along with most of her relatives. She was born with spastic paraparesis, which affects her legs, but it has never held her back. She managed to work all her life since school, mainly office work but has also been a CCTV operator and a retail assistant. She is very keen on her garden, enjoying it when she can, with a view of the Cow Hill nearby. She also enjoys crafting, which she is looking forward to being able to do more in her retirement years, but most of all, she is looking forward to becoming a granny for the first time very soon so she can spoil her new grandson and read him this book.
