Are we really the creators of the events that happen in our lives, or is our identity only the acceptance of the events that happen to us? This book, which is enjoyable and well written by the author, provides a clear and masterful guide even on several topics that are considered complex. I certainly place the purpose of this book on a higher shelf than many novels and short stories written by many authors already well known or not. It must be read and recommended.
"Living Royally" is a wonderfully written, comprehensive and detailed personal development book that guides readers towards achieving self growth, happiness and success. The author, E.B. Beravale, shares a wealth of experience, insights and strategies for improving a wide range of aspects of life. The book is split into four sections around Personal Development, Lifestyles, Health and Financial Freedom. It is a remarkably dense book packed with practical insights on each of these subjects. Usefully, the book has been written such that it can be picked up and read in short sections on specific topics, making it a very useful reference guide to different situations. On reading it, I was surprised on the vast number of different areas the book covers, from shoe styles to insurance, and eating patterns to emotional health. Highly recommended !!
I started reading Living Royally at a time when I was standing at a crossroads, unsure of my next steps — and I'm so grateful it found me when it did. The book offers calm, practical wisdom around managing yourself well — your thoughts, time, energy and choices — in order to live with more clarity, happiness and direction. It doesn't overpromise or overwhelm. Instead, it quietly encourages you to take ownership of your life in a way that feels both manageable and meaningful. As I read, I felt a renewed sense of hope and purpose. I've underlined so many pages and found real comfort in its steady, thoughtful tone. It's the kind of book I know I'll return to when I need a reminder of what matters and how to move forward with intention. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to create meaningful change in their life — without burning out or losing themselves in the process.

I read “Living Royally – Happiness and Success through Personal Management” with great interest, initially intrigued by the eye-catching title. There is, these days a great deal of market interest in books on personal development, purporting to take the process of self-betterment out of the hands of self-appointed and self-perpetuating hierarchies of ‘experts’, like psychologists, gurus, and so on, empowering the ordinary man and woman with the conceptual tools to help themselves to a better, more satisfying level of existence. This is an innovative and thought-provoking read, from start to finish. It gives the reader, in a practical, sincere and disarmingly frank fashion, a series of steps towards inner happiness. The author’s starting premise is that the bulk of personal unhappiness stems from the reluctance to take responsibility for our existences. She then proceeds to show how, with a course of concerted action, we can remedy this situation, how we can remodel ourselves into the people we would like to be. For all the implied extravagance of the title, this programme of self-enhancement is entirely practical, offering down to earth tips on subjects ranging from etiquette to career advancement. I was also impressed that the author eschews paternalism, encouraging the reader to tailor her advice to their individual case. Her method is essentially to set out the evidence, and to encourage the reader to test her propositions in the light of their own experience. As a result, the reader feels that whatever steps they are taking, they are taking for themselves. I made a mental resolution to put some of these suggestions into practise myself while reading the book, and, although it is too early to comment on their success, I was distinctly impressed. I feel it is a wonderful addition to the existing literature within this field, because it takes such a novel, formidably comprehensive approach to the subject. I have no hesitation, therefore, in recommending this excellent book – I will be buying several as Christmas presents!
