In Moonshadows, the poems beckon to the elusive whispers of inner dreams, akin to tender ‘moonbeams’ lighting the dark corners of the soul. Each piece oscillates between delicate tenderness and a raw, abrasive spirit, offering a spiritual balm one moment, and presenting a playful or challenging muse the next. As you traverse through the pages, you’ll encounter a tapestry of characters – elusive, amusing, spiritual, or grim – each adding a unique hue to the poetic landscape. With every verse, feel the gentle kiss of moonshine on your brow and the invigorating caress of the wind as it carries you through a realm of emotions, thoughts, and whimsical moonlit adventures.

Gwyn Davies was brought up and educated in a rural environment and has a degree in modern languages. She spent ten years in cities in her 20s, seven of these in southern Germany, where she worked as a written translator for Daimler in the Press and Advertising section and travelled widely in Europe. She has a passion for nature and natural beauty and supports sustainable living.
