Not everyone is the same!
In our human and animal world, being different means looking physically different to other humans and animals while still having the same need for love, understanding AND ACCEPTANCE. This book explores how Monroe the cat, who has no tail, is the same inside as other cats: her difference is that she has no tail!
Maus Grant was born in Sydney, Australia, in 1963. She began teaching adults at TAFE in 1989, then eventually went on to teach secondary school while raising her two children: son Kyle and daughter Maddison, affectionately known as Moo.
In 2017 an illness forced Maus into an early retirement. It was then she began to take an interest in writing children’s books to share her love of animals, especially cats.
Such an amazing book for the kids! They absolutely loved the story of Monroe and the illustrations. Highly recommended.
