Arianna is a six-year-old girl whose normal life was one day interrupted by her dad being in an accident and losing one of his legs. Her playful and carefree days with her dad had been replaced with sadness, worries and frustration. The outlook of life was bleak and challenging. However, with strengths, positivity and patience she went back to her old routines with extra special new ‘normality’ in her daily life with her dad.

Nora was born in Malaysia but has been living in Australia with her husband and daughter since 2000. Nora was a high school teacher and university instructor, but currently, she works in the Library and Information Services Team at Brisbane City Council.

Thank you for the book, which we find it refreshing. Sadly, we don't have many books on this theme in the market. So, this is very much welcomed. Looking forward to reading the next book by this author.

Thank you for this book, which exposes and explains to my children about the journey of getting prosthetic legs. They are so fascinated by it and we have read it for more than three times! Highly recommended. Thank you, once again. Looking forward to this author’s next book.

A valuable resource for disability and inclusivity field, especially for children's area. It is a rare 'niche' material / story and gives you a further insight into how the people who lost their leg/ legs deal with the circumstances while navigating their way to get new legs. Highly recommended. *****

I loved this book! It was kinda sad how Arianna’s Dad’s leg got amputated at first. However, in the end she and her Dad managed to overcome that together. Now, they can live a happy live together with their family! She can still play with her Dad although it is not as convenient now. This book has really helped me appreciate how my Dad still has both his legs and can play with me when he is free. I would love to have more books written by this author as this book has really helped me appreciate the simpler things in life. This book is perfect for children of all ages to read as it is a simple book that still has an interesting story. I have already reread it a couple of times as I find it an enjoyable book. I am sure you will find it as entertaining as I did!
