The identity of the ‘Common Man’ in this book is sure to delight and surprise you. The ‘Common Man’ fits a niche between the rich and famous and the downtrodden and homeless. The rich and famous receive ample recognition, as do the downtrodden and homeless, to a lesser extent. The ‘Common Man’ usually receives recognition from a disaster or criminal offence. Buying the book can give one ‘Common Man’ recognition and possibly start a trend for others to write their life stories and further the recognition of the ‘Common Man’. Unite and write.

The author began writing poems and short stories at age eight. With a degree in education and journalism, the author was encouraged to write by a fourth grade teacher and by the dean, while being the editor of the college paper and other publications. Children’s stories were used in the classroom. An interest in history led to the writing of two history books self-published by the author. The urge to write has persisted into the retirement years.
