In his young years the author served his apprenticeship as a shipwright, later joining the R.A.A.F as a shipwright, marine section, Air Sea Rescue. He served with distinction for six years, with a further eight-years in reserves. In civilian life, he quickly obtained the role of furniture production manager before being enticed to return to designing and building boats. He retired as a respected sales manager in both manufacturing and wholesale distribution. Within his life, he has long had a passion for writing. He creates a selection of ideas and words to form pictures in his mind that appear to him in movie form. His writings as a poet lyricist nurtured his excitement for the art of writing. No greater pastime for him than to sit at his computer, whilst observing nature and creating stories that stimulate the mind and thoughts of the young at heart.
