The poems in this book will make you laugh, make you cry and some will make you wonder why.

The nature of these poems is created from everyday situations – from walks to work, to family, to life.

I’m not sure why the poetry found me so late in my life, but it did, and feel I want to share my vision, my thoughts and my feelings with you.

I hope you have as much fun reading this book as I have had writing it.

I was born and raised in a small coastal village in Essex. I then moved where I currently live in a small town just 50 miles from London called Colchester (known as the oldest recorded town in Britain). I shortly started my family and was then married to my husband for which we are still happily married 35 years on.

I’ve always worked hard in my life, and in the care industry, and really enjoy working within the NHS helping young people with Mental Health issues.

I love to spend my spare time in the garden, looking after our pets that we have rescued of the years, oh and of course writing poetry (a recent thing).
