Valerie Dignam was born and grew up in Dublin, Ireland. She moved to Jersey when she was 19 years old and soon discovered it would make a perfect base for her many journeys. It was here she developed the travel bug. She now lives back in Ireland in County Wicklow with her husband. This is her first book.
I really enjoyed this book and could easily have read an extra hundred pages. It's a very well told story with the original photos which made it so authentic and made me envious that I never made that journey. Well done.
I have been limiting the amount I read each day to make it last. well What a Sweet little book about an Epic journey, really enjoyed it but wanted it to go on for longer, should be on sale at stations and airports because it is the perfect thing to get you in the mood for more at the start of a journey, like a sort of travel hors d'oeuvre , Great Job
This book is very well written, with a brilliant insight into the travels of a young couple and their adventures along the way. It is a delightful read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
