A sweet memory of Scobie Dee’s younger daughter’s conversations with her friends brought about the idea of this book, at the grand age of 58 years young. However, it was her elder daughter that brought the idea to life with her illustrations that gave her the courage to submit. Scobie Dee took early retirement at 55 and settled nicely into domestic life after years in a hectic corporate profession. Scobie’s mother wrote children’s poems during her lifetime and after her passing the passion moved onto her daughter. This is Scobie’s first children’s book which she hopes children and parents alike will enjoy.
This book is absolutely delightful. The illustrations are really good and fun to look at. Bought it for my Grandson who got so excited by the story and looking at the animals within the pages. Well done all round!
What a great book beautifully penned and wonderfully illustrated! This book was equally enjoyed by my 9 yr old Granddaughter and my 6 yr old Grandson.
