Throughout human history, art has been central to all aspects of life: from birth to death, and everything in between. Potty About Pots looks at ceramics throughout the time, exploring both the cultures and artistic legacy of people from the ancient Egyptians to modern Europeans. Potty About Pots will take you on a journey through time and geography, with fun activities, suitable for all ages, to share with loved ones or pupils.

Grace Selous Bull has a BA (Hons) in History of Art, Religious Studies and Theology, which she studied at Leeds University. She went on to complete an MA in Fine and Decorative Arts at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. She has worked for an international art consultant and auction house, Bonhams. After marrying, she gained a
teaching assistant qualification and was shocked at the lack of art and art history taught at Primary Schools. Determined to show teachers, parents and children alike the vast
co-curricular expanse one can gain from learning about Art Education, she has gone on to start writing books. She has a blog – https://therainbowtree.squarespace.com – that is full of arts and crafts activities from toddlers all the way up to young teenagers.
