Twins, Peter and Jillian White had always been close, the bond between them unbreakable. Senior Sergeant Frank Brannigan, a burnt-out cop at the end of his career, was about to find out about the depths of that bond as his posting in the once sleepy, little outback town of Rowan descends into a spinning maelstrom of violence and death. Paul Christison was a single father of two young sons. He had worked as a printer, labourer and, later in life, attended university to become a High School teacher in English and History. He was an accomplished landscape artist, novelist and the writer of screen plays. He worked for the State Government in security but writing was his true passion.
