I have only known since 2012, but I am the illegitimate child of Bobby Moore, the captain of the 1966 World Cup winning football team. I went from living an exceptionally happy and privileged childhood to one of detachment, hurt, and misery. My world was completely turned upside down and I deeply missed my former life and my family. I made the most of my life by focusing energy and attention on my education and the sports in which I participated, which helped me relieve the tension. I enjoyed my freedoms as I grew older and made a life for myself. I have never really wanted anything, but I now feel, after six decades, the need for recognition, acknowledgement, and closure in my life.

Author, Mark Jennings calls time on a truth that has been hidden from the public for more than half a century. Born and raised in South London, Mark recalls his past in detail with a unique and engaging writing style which allows the reader to imagine that they are right there, looking over his shoulder despite the lack of direct influence from his father, Bobby Moore, Mark’s life has been dominated by sports. Not only has he enjoyed sports immensely, but they also helped him get through the darkest and most challenging times. Join him on his journey of self-discovery. It’s an incredible ride that you’ll want to stay on to the end.

It was not an easy one to write .out of it, I hope to get closure, it also help me with my mental health. thanks to Austin Macauley. I have now got my story out in the public domain. most people will be very shocked but it is what it is the truth. Bobby Moore to me will always be one of the top football players of all time and a good man, that always had time for people.
