And waves are battering,
Filling us with fear,
Take time to recline,
Follow each line.
Forget the troubles,
Float into a bubble
To realise

Now in her nineties, her life has been one of variety. Using her experiences, she depicts them in verse. Therefore in some cases, the poems are related to real life. Starting to write in her seventies has increased this variety. Her work life has included being a librarian, life in the WRNS to becoming a PE teacher, working in the field of scientific research to becoming a verger of a large church until retirement in her seventies
