Sleep Little Tortoise is a delightful story for young children who have trouble settling at bedtime. It is the tale of a cheeky tortoise that is reluctant to hibernate. Going to sleep seems like a very boring idea when there’s so much fun to be had.
After a restless start, the tortoise learns how to use her imagination to carry her into her dream world. There she discovers that sleep can be anything but boring.
L B Baxter has worked for many years as a children’s photographer. She has always had a passion for writing and has published a philosophical fable for young adults called Oceans Apart. This is her first published children’s picture book.
This is a delightful book which has been beautifully written. I bought it for my 5-year-old Granddaughter and she loved it.
Such a beautiful poetic lovely and uplifting book! Beautifully illustrated and beautifully narrated, I would definitely recommend it!
