Sophie is a beautiful black pug that has magical powers. She can travel to the past and the future. Together with her human girl, they travel all over learning about history and exploring the unknown. On their travels, they meet new animal friends who travel with them on their adventures.

An avid reader of Cozy Mysteries, Stacy was born in Saugus, Massachusetts. She grew up in Peabody and went to college in Beverly where she met her husband, Robert. After his service of 20 years in the Army, they, along with their daughter, Alexis, four pugs, and three cats, settled back in Salem, Massachusetts, until they moved to London, England.

My Beautiful friend Stacy wrote this book and I sent it to my grandchildren and they love it. We talked about how the pug has magical powers and how the pup and the little girl travel. We also talked about what we learned about the Boston Tea Party so not only does it have a great story but you learn a little history that children can understand. It opens the door for conversation. The fact that it is also a child and her puppy makes it even more relatable for children and the pictures are bright and colourful and helps keep their interest from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book to anyone who would like a really cute book with a little bit of history in the story to get kids interested in reading.
