Starlet is a star who lives high above us and is very excited about the Grand Star Race and so is her friend Alpha. While the race is setting up Starlet’s brother suddenly goes missing! Will Starlet and Alpha be able to find him in the middle of the madness of the Grand Star Race? Will Alpha ever get to meet the famous star Nebula? The adventure begins!

Ruth Parkes is a part time cleaner who enjoys reading, cross stitch and spending time with friends and family. She began her working life in a bakery shop where she was for several years and later qualified as a teaching assistant working in schools for over 10 years. In a change to a career she became a carer for older people. She likes to read children’s books and mystery stories. She is single and lives in the West Midlands.
