Twelve original stories, with illustrations, about growing up, adventure, strange creatures, good and evil, imagination, and beauty.

The stories have been lovingly crafted and presented by the author, Galya, to be told to children dear to her, but they can be read by anyone who enjoys the magic of fairy tales.

Galya Bakri was born in 1973 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated with a master’s degree in accountancy from the National and World Economy University, Sofia. She now lives in Chester, England. Galya has been writing poetry and children’s stories since she was fifteen years old, and her work has been published in magazines and newspapers in Bulgaria. In 2000, she won the Council of Pernik Essay Competition on the theme ‘My town in the new millennium.’ She writes in her spare time.
