In his book, Elmo wants to make his readers understand and appreciate how one can rise from the ashes. if one is genuinely dedicated, and committed. He goes on to describe the journey in his own words and highlights the key events that led him to climb the high Himalaya.

He describes in detail the expedition and how he managed to climb the highest mountains in the world. His journey takes him from being unknown, to becoming a well-known figure who has found his place in the mountaineering world and has helped put a small tropical Island on the mountaineering map.

Elmo is an avid mountaineer and explorer and the founder of #boat2bagbern and an award-winning eco-social innovator, a mountaineer who has climbed in several regions of the Himalayas, Andes, Arctic, and the Alps. He promotes and creates awareness on climate change and climate crime through his expeditions and his initiatives. One of his missions is to introduce sustainable and creative solutions and reduce waste while empowering and inspiring people around the world through his story. Part of the proceeds from this book, The Himalayan Probation, will go to the Himalayas to help children who don’t have access to basic medicine. Elmo shares his experiences from his first expeditions in 2001 and how, soon after the 9/11 attacks in 2001 and how he was able to accomplish his expedition despite all the challenges, thus making this a worthy cause beyond mountains and adventures.
