Dilly is a female white and tan Jack Russell with very short legs and a pleasant nature who loves going and having adventures with her owner mum Sandy and owner dad Colin. In this instalment of her adventures, Dilly visits the Lakes, along with the odd puddle! We hear from Dilly as she chases cows, meets other dogs and tries to avoid her owners' long walks which wear on her little legs!

Sandy Shaw was born in Barnet, Hertfordshire in 1958, and spent her childhood in Cornwall. With a career in hotel and catering behind her, she gained a diploma in Retail Jewellery and became a partner in a successful jewellery shop. She stayed for over 30 years, until she recently decided to concentrate on writing and painting and spending time with the family.
She is happily married, has two grown up children and a large extended family. She also has a Jack Russell called Dilly, who is a huge part of their lives and is a constant source of entertainment.

What a fantastic little book. Ideal for bed time reading. Great for both parent and child, with great illustrations. Just the right length. It is a long time since I was a child, but I am sure I would have loved it and got very involved with DIlly. Can't wait for the next adventure.
