Sue Sibbons was born in Kent, England and now lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband David. Sue is currently working as a professional nanny, which has included a number of high profile clients over the past 18 years. She loves looking after children and is very passionate about early childhood education, which inspired her to create her first children's book.
This is a lovely children’s book and we were lucky enough to have author Sue Sibbons visit my son’s kindergarten to do a reading which the children loved! Thanks Sue!
A wonderful and engaging book, the illustrations are bright with the alphabet characters being very appealing. The Vowels are all the same colour. A clever idea to assist young children with their learning.
The Alphabet Picnic is a great book for the grandchildren to learn and to enjoy learning the alphabet. Very well illustrated. I have 10 grandchildren so I have plenty of experience in early learning.

Extremely engaging book for our young readers learning their alphabet. It keeps them interested with the bright colours and pictures. My nephews keep going back to the same book every night to read and practice their sounds! A lovely fun way to learn
I brought this book for my niece and nephew, they simply love it! Its a very clear, bright and colourful book that they insist I read with them every time I visit. Alphabet Picnic is a must purchase and i'd highly recommend it as a stocking filler for any young readers. Its an excellent educational aid set within an engaging story with excellent illustrations. We shall look forward to the writers next scribe!
What a delightful book, the author truly knows her audience! It is colourful, fun and educational - a fantastic way to learn the alphabet. Definitely one for the Christmas stocking this year!
Bought this book for my grand children. Absolutely loved it. Mum hasn’t stopped reading it so I’m told nightly! Would recommend this book to anyone from a very early age! Thankyou Sue for an awesome book.
