  Thanks to the publisher for providing me with a review copy of The Dark Road.
  This is the second book in a trilogy, with both returning and new characters.
  The Warm Realm is in need as The Mistress and The Sworn go along the Dark Road, they have to collect the fourth child. Facing all manor of the dark and mystical .
  It's a dangerous journey to undertake but take it they must.
  This is a well written and well paced story, leaving the reader eager for the final installment.

  Hancock does it again. A magical and mystical journey through the lands of the Mer. I was transported again back into the depths of the dark forests full of wolves, magical beings, the metaphors of light and dark taking us into the realms of a greater connection to all that is. To be held and at one with nature and the wisdom she brings forth.
  
  This isn’t a book for children or adults it is a book and trilogy for ALL. Hancock has a simple and profound way of conveying the importance of who we are being and how we are living in the world. I am cheering for the brave and bold to win with all their hard-earned wisdom!
  
  Do I really have to wait another year for the final instalment? I can’t wait to see how it all plays out as right now I am left in the woods with the wild ones and a candle wondering…

  This second book didn't disappoint. Full of magic and mystery, creatures and beings. This is a beautifully written tale that keeps you hooked all the way through. Can not wait for the third book. Highly recommend.
