The Bored Princess tells the story of a girl facing her destiny due to her high lineage and rebelling against the rigid protocol that rules her life. It presents a chant for freedom and a complaint about the traditional and conventional teaching methods, confronting them with the image of a sensitive and educational approach.

María Jesús Lorente was born in Almería, 26 March 1975. She has presented a great talent for writing since her early years. At present, María Jesús Lorente works as a teacher in Secondary Education and this is her first book, in collaboration with her brother Antonio Lorente (illustrator). He is well known for his high quality art works in the illustration field (artworks displayed in Rome, Paris, Madrid, London and New York galleries).

 Antonio Lorente was born in Almería a city located in the south of Spain, 26 July 1987 . From a young age his passion for art made him realized that this was the path that he was born to follow. His true interest lies in illustrations and his work has been recognised in different magazines and books in Spain.

For the past two years he has been living in London, and embracing the city's vibrant culture, full of diversity and innovation. London's leading-edge arts scene is where he has been developing his career and establishing himself as an illustrator
