Throughout the Bible, God uses the sacred bond between a bridegroom and his bride to illustrate the depths of His love for His people. Jesus speaks of this even more intimately in the Gospels, urging His followers to be ready for His return and the great wedding feast to come. In the Book of Revelation, believers are likened to the Bride of Christ, called into a divine relationship with Him.

In this book, Helen explores this profound connection through poetry, inviting readers to experience the beauty and intimacy of…

The Bridegroom and I.

Helen Harvison was always a very active member of any church she was involved with. She, along with her husband, were used to being on the ‘front line’ of service – by the pastor’s side, working for the good of the people of any church with which in which she took part. Then her world was turned upside down. She lost her beloved husband. Two years later, she was disabled.

Suddenly, everything was reversed. Living in a strange city where she desperately searched for support for her disabled son and herself, she searched for a new walk with God. How did He see her now?

This book outlines her further journey, and goes on from the revelation of ‘Strong Deliverer’.
