Little was known about the Last Dana until the day Suma captured it in his hands.
Travel back to the Middle East in the days when there was no rest for the weary as the life of a pearl diver ensued much hardship and little compensation for work.
This is a story about a humble family lifestyle and generational strength of character which develops into a tale of wonder, adventure and survival for a young boy.

Jennifer Guilday is an English teacher who taught English as a Second Language in Qatar, during the years 2009-2011. There, she travelled extensively through the Middle East and experienced the the Qataris’ way of living by walking through the Souks and talking to shop owners as well as the various people in the country. One of them was a famous pearl diver in his day. He shared many of his adventures and gave her information of what it was like to live in Qatar in the early pearl diving days, before the industry was transferred to Asian market. Ms Guilday hopes to travel and continue to write. She resides in the small town of Colonial Beach, Virginia with her dog, Enos.
