Nancy and Noah have been pen-pals for a long time. They talk about all sorts of things in their letters. In 1939 when World War II starts, the two children experience the outbreak in different ways. Nancy is evacuated to Betws-y-Coed, North Wales, and as she adjusts to country life and living with strangers, she experiences some devastating news. Her letters to Noah continue but will she find the comfort and friendship much closer than the ink and paper?

Erin lives in a small town in North Wales with her parents, two older sisters and her cockapoo, Maggie.
Erin has always had a love for reading and as she reached the latter years of Primary School, she started writing stories. Now in High School, Erin’s love for writing has focused on people, their experiences and relationships during real life events. Erin plays the flute in the county band for young musicians and plays the piano as well. She also loves animals and photography and when walking her dog, takes photographs of everything!
