There is something that all women go through at some point. It is inevitable and spares no one. And the process is overwhelming. Yet, it is hardly talked about, even among closest friends. The result is that every woman has to find things out on her own and then realise that every woman she knew has been going through the same thing.

The Menopause - A Passing Visit recounts what happens when a woman reaches the end of her reproductive years.

At the age of 25, Tessa Roberts started on what turned out to be a long journey of education. She spent two years in the School of Herbal Medicine, then qualified in Nutritional Medicine, Therapeutic Massage, Nursing for Health Care Support Workers, and Horticultural Therapy, also completing a BSc in Nutrition. She has also spent some time as a retail manager of a leading health food store. She has drawn on each of these experiences in writing this book and the many accumulated through the years of working as a private therapist.

She lives in Wales and enjoys gardening, crafts and good food.
