We both waited for a few quiet moments for him to tell us his name, neither of us expecting what we heard.“Mine is Edwin Lavin,†he said, in quiet Cornish tones. “You’ve probably heard of me. I’m the son of the game-keeper, but I didn’t start the fire!â€A holiday in Cornwall for twins Sarah and Mark turns out to be something they could never have imagined after discovering the over-grown garden, the disused swimming pool, the stables and the mysterious boy. It actually turned out to be quite an exciting and adventurous holiday!
Julie is a retired N.H.S. worker and lives in Cornwall with her husband and their dog, Rosie. She has one daughter and four wonderful grandchildren. Apart from her writing, Julie also loves to paint in watercolours and loves reading.

  • Eddie Muir

I’ve recently finished reading this delightful book. It is full of mystery and enchantment and I absolutely loved it and was very sorry when I reached the final page. The characters are beautifully depicted and the setting is magical. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys being drawn into a jolly good ghost story. Suitable for all age groups: children and adults alike. As Oliver might have said, please may we have some more, Mrs Robinson.

  • A Real Page Turner

Julie Robinson’s first book is a real page turner. A spooky tale where twins join forces with a ghost to right a wrong. A great book, strongly recommended for all ages.
