Dr Ajit Gomez is a retired Consultant Psychiatrist in the UK. Whilst in this job, he pursued an inner call to enter the Diaconate Formation Programme under the Archdiocese of Birmingham, UK, and was ordained a deacon in 2013. He responded to a second call to work as a Roman Catholic Prison Chaplain in 2019, after taking early retirement from the NHS. He is very passionate about the message of peace and forgiveness offered by Jesus Christ and aspires to live up to the calling to serve the Lord, by word and deed.

There could be many reasons why a writer chooses to write on a subject or a book. I believe that the author of this book was inspired by God to use this book as an instrument to touch the reader. I have used this book for my daily devotions, and each time it felt as though God wanted me to hear something from Him. The biggest takeaway for me personally is the speed dial 333 (Jeremiah 33:3).

I loved this book as every chapter is independent, underpins our Christian faith, reveals the loving nature of our heavenly father's outstretched arm. IT will be USEFUL even to a new believer or even for anyone who wants to know more about the Christian faith. It is really based on scripture, very simple, relates to the world and its events, has a punch line and has a prayer in every chapter that raises the human heart to the presence of God. It is a very inspired writing by the author and will continue to inspire through centuries.

The chapters are the right length for you to read and take in the message. You don't have to read them in the order they are published but you can pick and choose which chapter you read, depending on the mood you are or the message you want to read at that time. The writing shows how much thought the author has put into the book for his readers to grasp the different messages that show the outstretched arm of love.

This book is a must read for anybody with little faith or no faith in Jesus Christ. Dr.Gomez has succinctly and honestly given his life experiences in small chapters which can be chosen at random. It is an easy read to foster one's faith. The reader can correlate with their own experiences at good times and difficult times. Once you start reading reading, it is difficult to put it down.
