Sometimes we all need a helping hand. The animals in these stories know that very well. Together, they help each other overcome their fears, solve problems, and learn how to live happily and peacefully together.

They have lots of adventures. Squirrel must help save piglet who has fallen down the rabbit hole; little blackbird learns to fly for the first time; and together all the animals in the wood investigate where the sun has gone. They even work together to save their beloved big oak tree from the humans.

But the animals are not always well behaved. Sometimes they make mistakes, but they always learn from them. After eating all the childrens’ easter eggs, the big fox finds himself in a race against time to replace them, and Rabbit learns that you must always treat people kindly.

Discover what the animals get up to and more in this magical collection of children’s stories.

Pauline is a mother of two sons, and a grandmother. Pauline only discovered her talent for writing poetry after an illness which left her unable to cope with the movement of reading and writing. She has had to learn these skills again, but is only able to do this with the help of her long suffering husband, who has to type it and read it back endlessly! This is a big achievement for Pauline as she has been unable to read a book or letter for the last four years.
