Sharon D. Davis, MSW. the author of the “Sweetest Little Chocolate Thief”, is a mother of four, and has worked with children for 17 years. Ms. Davis attended New Mexico State University (NMSU), in the United States of America. At NMSU, she obtained her master’s in social work. Her career has spanned many states in the U.S. She is also a second-generation U.S. Army veteran, where her first duty station was right back home at Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Currently she lives in the beautiful city of Denver, Colorado where she enjoys writing, horseback riding, nature trails and attending events at the theatres and playhouses in Denver.

Ms. Davis was inspired by a similar story that was shared between her and her goddaughter. The story takes us back to when we were young and the discoveries of the deliciousness of chocolate. The story allows an opening for parents to discuss many topics with younger children around food – foods that are good for us, and foods that could be eaten in moderation and in celebration.

The purpose of the story was mainly to show how chocolate could be seen as a “Second Language” because everyone all over the world loves chocolate.

This book is just the first of a three-book series because the other two books will travel with the main character Snookie, as she visits other countries and cultures experiencing the wonders of chocolate all over the world. These other books will be published soon, you will be able to find them at your local bookstores.
