Megan Blake is sixty-four years of age and lives in Bolton in the north-west of England with her husband of 43 years. Her dad inspired in her a love of reading as a child. Reading fired her imagination, especially Enid Blyton. She is a huge fan of Agatha Christie’s fiction and of TV and film adaptations of her work.

Although retired now she worked mainly in the public sector, in various administrative and secretarial roles. This is her first attempt at writing. She enjoys walking, cooking, writing, daydreaming and listening to all kinds of music.

A wonderful read. I felt a real part of the journey. I'd recommended this book to anyone to read. And look forward to more books from Megan.

A lovely read. The characters come to life so well. I really enjoyed the stories. I liked the way Megan has made the book contemporary and really relevant for today. It's a read that is both educational and enjoyable. A 5 star book. Well worth checking out.

An excellent book written by Megan. Children of all ages will love the stories and the way Megan paints pictures in the readers mind. The book is superbly put together with excellent images that enhance the stories so well. Highly recommended. 5 stars all the way.
