Lei Solia is a New Zealand born Samoan public servant residing in New Zealand. The Teddy Bear Lesson is her first story to be published. She first came up with the idea when trying to get her young nephew to sleep. As well as her public service, she is also the treasurer of The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in her local community.
