C B MacPherson grew up a fan of fantasy and superhero books, TV and film, as well as being an avid gamer. As a young boy, he would often write stories as a way of letting his imagination run wild. This fell by the wayside when he began his higher education studies.

It wasn’t until he was settled in his teaching career that he started experimenting with writing again, and taking inspiration from series like The Witcher and Game of Thrones, as well as some of his favourite videogames like The Elder Scrolls, he put pen to paper to create the world of The Wardens.
