Walking Backwards

Eleanor could be you. Like many, she did not realise that destiny is a fixed point, not a random place, and like many who join cults, Eleanor was blown off course, living through storms and doldrums alike, losing view of her intrinsic identity. It can take many years to find your north star again and finally sale into port, exhausted, yes, but back on dry land. This book follows the journey of Eleanor before, during, and after she sailed away, convinced of her destination.

Nora Frances Atkin was born and raised on the east coast of Ireland. The sea has a huge influence on her writing.

She also lived for many years in the mountains of the south west coast, where her writing voice became established. She has two grown-up sons and takes a keen interest in animal welfare and environmental issues.

She now lives with her two rescue dogs in Drogheda, County Louth. As well as writing novels, she writes poetry, and children’s short stories. She has strong spiritual influences and guidance in her life, and tries to live by grace, gratitude and love.
