A young boy questions the world around us. He is surprised that everything he drops falls down and does not go up in the air.

This story explains to a young age group what gravity is all about, and why we need gravity to keep things in their places.

Marijke used to teach crafts in adult education. Since retirement she likes to take her two grandsons out and is always intrigued by their way of looking at the things around them.

When Gravity went on Holidays was the result of one such observations asked by four-year-old Noah: ‘Why does everything fall down and not go up when you drop things?’
