Amazing book with intriguing text and stunning illustrations. This book contains a strong message about curiosity that is valuable for all ages. The author has used rhyme to relay the message of curiosity clearer for even the youngest readers. The illustrations are striking to look at, with very strong connections with the text.

When You Are Curious by Veronika Darwell is beautiful book supporting early years curiosities and learning. Easy to read and written in rhyme with plenty of illustrations to create healthy conversation around life and encourage curiosity and outwards thinking for little growing minds.

A fantastic book that is very much designed to grab children's attention and engage them. The clever use of rhyme and bold illustrations are perfect. This book is great for adults also - it prompted me to reflect on if I was still curious about the world around me too!

This text would be a great stimulus in different learning areas in an EYFS setting. It encourages children to observe, explore, initiate ideas, problem solve and persevere. Each skill is presented with colourful graphics and rhyming language – a great simple but effective book.

This is a lovely book with a great message to kids to be curious. It teaches children that curiosity is a good thing and can carry them to new heights and do amazing things. It can leave a child filled with wonder. The illustrations and text of this book are excellent. It’s not difficult to read and is appropriate for all ages. I read it to my son, and he loved it.

We opened this book and the first thing we saw was the iconic quote from Alice in Wonderland "Curiouser and curiouser" and we were immediately hooked!! Being curious and inquisitive about the world is such a wonderful thing and children most of all should have the freedom to be naturally curious. The bright bold colours and illustrations complement the text - which is clear and concise, ideal for a younger audience. I have a very curious little missy at home and this book was very much well received! She loves to ask "WHY" countless times a day so I knew she'd love this read!
