Author of our upcoming children book, The Adventure of Rex, Ali Lane will appear for an interview with the BBC Radio Gloucestershire on Saturday, 29th August 2020 at 9 o’clock in the morning. She will be accompanied by Milly, the illustrator of the book. She will discuss her upcoming book, the inspiration which prompted her to write it, her journey of becoming an author and much more. We look forward to hearing from one of our esteemed writers talk about her book.   The Adventure of Rex is the story of a rabbit who gets ignored for his unusual appearance. However, his inspiring qualities make him adored by all and sundry—even more than the other ‘pretty’ rabbits. The book aspires to elevate the self-worth of children by inculcating in them values such as compassion, love, and consideration for others as opposed to conventional good looks. She’s the mother of two and lives close to nature on a lake surrounded by wildlife, greenery and her inspirational pets.  The Adventure of Rex, based on the true story of an extraordinary rabbit, is her first published work.
