A Spellbinding Tale for Young Readers

The cat may look like just another adorable tabby, but he’s no ordinary feline. As a witch’s cat with plenty of attitude, Cat finds himself in a tricky situation after falling from his mistress’s broomstick on Halloween night. Now stuck in the garden of two children, Annie and Sam, Cat must wait a whole year for his witch to return. During that time, he takes Annie and Sam on thrilling adventures through a magical rose bush, leading them to The Lane, where they meet strange and wonderful characters like the Spell Master and Lady Prunella Pussington, a beautiful white cat with a mysterious secret. As Halloween comes around again, the big question remains: will Cat return to his witch, or stay with his newfound friends forever?

Lynda Franklin, a retired NHS worker, now fills her days caring for her grandchildren and indulging her passion for writing. With a busy household that includes her husband Alan, one son, three daughters, and eleven grandchildren, Lynda’s love for family shines through in her storytelling. Nothing makes her happier than spending time with her family and weaving tales that spark the imagination of young readers.
