Ruth Parkinson, the writer of ‘Jane and the Beanstalk’, will be signing books for readers on 12th August, 5:00 PM at Jo’s Bookshop in Chingford. This will be an excellent opportunity for readers to meet Ruth and find out more about Jane’s fantastic tale of adventure.
‘Jane and the Beanstalk’ presents an amusing variation of this famous story. Once a magical beanstalk grows in Jane's backyard, Jane and her mother will have to decide either chop down the beanstalk or allow Jane to ascend to its top. Given that Jane is courageous, well-mannered and quite unlike Jack, children reading this story can anticipate lots of twists, giggles, and thrills along the way.
Having been born in Australia and having dual nationality, Ruth Parkinson has travelled and worked around the world in various places like Brunei, Germany, and East London. Having earned a degree in Modern Languages studies and being an experienced educator, Ruth has now become retired and writes because of her love for writing. Ruth splits her time between Tasmania, London, and North West England.
